About the Photographer

My name is John Redrup. I have grown up in Florida fishing and diving and now photographing, experiencing all that the state has to offer in terms of wilderness and wildife. Most of my work comes from long hours outdoors, waiting for light and behavior to align. Sometimes that means nothing happens. Sometimes it means everything does.

I focus on birds and wild landscapes, with a strong emphasis on natural behavior and clean composition. Many of my images are made from boats, shorelines, or remote areas where patience matters more than speed. I prefer to let animals dictate the moment rather than forcing one.

All photographs are created with professional Nikon equipment and are carefully processed to remain true to the scene. Prints are produced using high-end materials selected for longevity and detail, including archival metal and fine art finishes.

This work is offered as limited fine-art prints for those who appreciate wildlife as it exists — unscripted, unposed, and fleeting.
